Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and climb stairs
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and crouch

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four-year college experience preferred in hospitality, business, or foreign languages
  • Previous customer service, front office, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Proficient communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in using hotel management systems and basic computer applications
  • Competent in handling cash and credit card transactions
  • Preferred ability to speak foreign languages
  • Ability to multi-task and handle pressure during peak periods
  • No specific licenses or certificates required
  • Proficient in reading safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Professionalism and courtesy towards guests and colleagues

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
  • Fulfill guest requests and follow special instructions adhering to security and credit policies
  • Promote Hilton Hospitality and brand-specific marketing programs
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, following up to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Use computer systems to select and block rooms, pre-register guests, and assist with VIP escorts
  • Check guests out according to procedures, handle cash and post charges
  • Maintain knowledge of room and rate availability for current and future dates
  • Handle safety deposit box requests including access and closing procedures
  • Complete key packets and vouchers
  • Reconcile transactions and cash out with leader at shift end
  • Promote and upsell hotel services, packages, and loyalty programs
  • Answer phones within three rings according to service standards
  • Handle emergency procedures professionally
  • Collaborate with leadership on difficult situations to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assist operations in other hotel areas as needed
  • Maintain a safe work environment and hotel safety standards
