Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to operate front desk software and handle cash transactions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
  • Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
  • Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and ensure all are met to satisfaction in a timely manner
  • Post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Handle guest mail and messages with respect for privacy and professionalism
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand, travel programs and special offers
  • Communicate guest comments and concerns to various departments and management
  • Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
  • Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
