Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic knowledge of hotel operations
  • ability to handle cash transactions securely
  • proficiency with computer systems
  • strong organizational skills
  • capacity to resolve guest complaints effectively
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and handle pressure
  • knowledge of reservation and front desk management systems such as OPERA preferred
  • problem-solving skills
  • professionalism and a guest-focused attitude
  • reliable and punctual

Job Duties

  • greet and register guests
  • provide excellent guest service
  • settle guest accounts upon completion of stay
  • manage reservations including making, modifying and cancelling
  • assist with hotel operator or concierge duties as needed
  • maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, room types, and promotions
  • process guest check-ins and check-outs
  • communicate hotel services and amenities to guests
  • maintain guest history files
  • balance room availability and manage overbookings
  • document guest requests and resolve complaints
  • maintain clean and organized work area
  • handle assigned bank and ensure security of money
  • meet with front office management daily to review priorities
  • answer and manage department telephone calls
