Job Duties
- Operate the telephone switchboard to handle incoming calls
- Process guest requests for wake-up calls and call identification
- Inform guests of messages such as voicemail, email, and faxes and deliver them upon request
- Attend, record and process all guest calls, requests, inquiries or concerns
- Accurately receive, log and transmit messages
- Register guest requests or issues in the computer system and contact appropriate departments such as Bell Services and Housekeeping
- Provide guests with information about room features, hotel amenities and local areas of interest
- Assist guests with internet access
- Report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to management
- Comply with company policies and maintain professional appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs
- Use clear and professional language when speaking and adhere to telephone protocol
- Cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals
- Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards
- Physically stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- Move, lift and relocate objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
