Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • no related work experience required
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Answer, record, and process all guest requests and inquiries via telephone, email, chat, and mobile communication devices
  • operate the telephone switchboard and process wake-up calls
  • connect and direct calls to the appropriate extension
  • receive, record, and relay messages accurately
  • log all guest requests or issues into computer system and follow up to ensure resolution
  • provide information about room features, amenities, and local areas of interest
  • process room service orders and record transactions in point-of-sale system
  • assist guests with internet access and in-room entertainment
  • adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome guests and anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities
  • communicate clearly using professional language and telephone etiquette
  • maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods and handling objects up to 10 pounds
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
