Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior front desk or customer service experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts between 7 am and 11 pm including weekends
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer-focused mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a front desk agent in a hotel or high-volume customer service environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Knowledge of Hilton brand standards is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process including inputting and retrieving information from the computer
  • Confirm guest information and room rate
  • Select rooms and encode electronic keys
  • Assist guests with check-out ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted
  • Use the point-of-sale system, handle money, process credit and debit cards, accept and record various forms of payment
  • Convert foreign currency and process gift certificates and cards
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and the local area
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
