Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting preferred
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred
  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in front desk computer systems
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle cash and follow credit policies

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, service-oriented manner and maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with hotel standards
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working
  • Follow all cash handling and credit policies
  • Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner
  • Comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system
