Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree preferred
  • some college education preferred
  • previous hotel or motel experience preferred
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to maintain a professional positive demeanor in stressful situations
  • proficient accuracy in basic computer literacy required
  • must possess a level 4 gaming license
  • ability to read analyze and interpret documents
  • ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests
  • ability to add subtract multiply and divide using whole numbers fractions and decimals
  • ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations

Job Duties

  • maintains a working knowledge of the property and nearby special events to advise guests
  • responds to guests requests or inquiries courteously and promptly
  • enters changing reservation information into computer system
  • posts charges to guest accounts and processes payment of accounts
  • ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained
  • observes credit limitations on check cashing privileges and ensures all checks are correctly stamped
  • prepares shift cash report balancing payments and disbursements and prepares drop envelope
  • checks for and reports fraudulent transactions
