Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree preferred
- some college education preferred
- previous hotel or motel experience preferred
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to maintain a professional positive demeanor in stressful situations
- proficient accuracy in basic computer literacy required
- must possess a level 4 gaming license
- ability to read analyze and interpret documents
- ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests
- ability to add subtract multiply and divide using whole numbers fractions and decimals
- ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations

Job Duties
- maintains a working knowledge of the property and nearby special events to advise guests
- responds to guests requests or inquiries courteously and promptly
- enters changing reservation information into computer system
- posts charges to guest accounts and processes payment of accounts
- ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained
- observes credit limitations on check cashing privileges and ensures all checks are correctly stamped
- prepares shift cash report balancing payments and disbursements and prepares drop envelope
- checks for and reports fraudulent transactions
