Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, efficient check-in/check-out experience
- assist with guest needs, questions, and concerns in a prompt and professional manner
- provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- manage room reservations, changes, and cancellations using the hotel's property management system (PMS)
- process payments, verify identification, and maintain accurate billing records
- handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- communicate guest requests and issues to housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed
- respond to phone calls and emails regarding reservations, services, and inquiries
- maintain clear and detailed shift reports for smooth transitions between shifts
- manage room assignments and ensure room availability in coordination with housekeeping
- maintain a clean, organized front desk area and ensure all materials are stocked
- follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and security protocols
