Job Requirements
- Associates degree in Hospitality or Travel and Tourism preferred
- minimum of one year experience in a front office role
- strong guest service skills
- proficiency with PMS software
- ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers
- ability to stand for extended periods
- positive attitude
- availability to work Friday through Sunday
- open availability preferred
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in Hospitality or Travel and Tourism preferred

- thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry
- strong administrative skills
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
- strong guest service skills
- proficient in PMS software
- effective communication skills with guests, management, and co-workers

- ability to stand up to 8 hours
Job Duties
- Welcome and register guests expeditiously
- provide information to guests as needed
- obtain identification and credit/check approval as directed by hotel policy
- verify rate and departure date
- confirm and modify information as per hotel procedures
- answer all guest questions accurately
- resolve problems timely ensuring guest satisfaction
- authorize revenue allowances as allowed by hotel policy
- upsell guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, and seasonal promotions
- make restaurant, transportation, and entertainment reservations
- provide concierge services
- communicate with other hotel departments
- maintain knowledge of hotel history, services, and rates
- thank guests with genuine appreciation at checkout
- register guests in Reservations
- follow proper check-in and checkout procedures
- review Front Desk log and record pertinent information
- post charges to accounts
- manage cash and credit transactions
- accept payments including third party and advance reservations
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- assist others and support special projects as needed
