Job Duties
- Greeting and check-in guests, clients, or customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assisting with the check-in process and verifying reservations
- Providing necessary information about the facility's services, amenities, and policies
- Handling check-out procedures and processing payments accurately
- Issuing invoices or receipts as needed and resolving payment-related queries
- Answering incoming phone calls and directing them to appropriate departments
- Responding promptly and professionally to emails and inquiries
- Managing room or service reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accurate data entry
- Assisting guests with requests such as room changes, additional amenities, directions, and local recommendations
- Addressing and resolving guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously
- Performing administrative duties like managing mail and packages, maintaining visitor logs, organizing files, and ensuring the front desk area is presentable
- Monitoring access to premises, issuing visitor badges or passes, and collaborating with security personnel as needed
- Handling cash transactions securely and reconciling cash drawers at the end of shifts
- Managing multiple tasks simultaneously including guest service, phone calls, inquiries, and administrative work
- Collaborating with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Following established emergency response procedures and assisting guests and staff during emergencies
