Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree preferred
- some college education preferred
- previous hotel or motel experience preferred
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to maintain professional and positive demeanor in stressful situations
- proficiency in basic computer literacy
- possession of a Level 4 Gaming License
- ability to read and interpret documents
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- ability to apply common sense reasoning

Job Duties
- maintains a working knowledge of the property and special events to advise guests
- responds to guests’ requests or inquiries courteously and promptly
- enters changing reservation information into computer system
- posts charges to guest accounts and processes payment of accounts
- ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained
- observes credit limitations on check cashing privileges and correctly stamps all checks accepted for payment
- prepares shift cash report, balances payments and disbursements with computer total, prepares drop envelope for shift end, and balances accounts
- checks for and reports fraudulent transactions
