Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to arrive and clock in on time for every shift
  • Ability to clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
  • Ability to stand or remain stationary for long periods (3-4 hours)
  • Ability to operate computers, phones, and office machinery
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to inspect and visually observe details at close and long range
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Capability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations if needed

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Strong desire to provide excellent hospitality and guest service
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to convey information clearly and professionally

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay
  • Use guests' names whenever possible
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology for role responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
  • Keep all areas clean and well-organized
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests while cleaning with smiles and names if possible
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
  • Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
  • Wear clean, approved uniform with nametag at all times
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate willingness to meet business and guest needs beyond traditional role
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Check in and check out guests efficiently
  • Contact guests post check-in to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates and promotions
  • Receive and note all incoming mail as required
