Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED equivalent or higher required
  • Technically proficient with computers and applications
  • High level of interpersonal and communicative talent
  • Able to multitask and manage stressful situations
  • Occasional bending, stooping, lifting and pulling
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Using telephone and email system constantly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED equivalent or higher
  • Experience with front desk operations preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Accurately receive and make member and guest hotel room reservations
  • Accurately receive and make member suite reservations
  • Receive, maintain and return member and guest lost and found items
  • Ensure that all member and guest special requests are completed
  • Open front desk for the day, including creating the daily housekeeping report
  • Make all hotel room and suite keys for arriving members and guests
  • Check in all arriving members and guests
  • Make guest cards for guests of members and/or reciprocal club members
  • Maintain an accurate status of all rooms
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with housekeeping as to the status of rooms, guest arrival times and guest departure times
  • Accurately maintain a cash bank
  • Know and understand all private suite policies and procedures
  • Complete petty cash transactions
  • Limited retail sales
  • Receive and execute member ticket requests
  • Follows all credit, cash and checking procedures
  • Know room locations, types of rooms, and room rates
  • Know and understand hours of operation in athletics and food outlets
  • Process mail and packages
  • Answer inbound calls using proper telephone etiquette
  • Communicate maintenance issues to Engineering department
  • Knowledge of daily activities and meetings taking place within the club
  • Send introductory letters for members travelling to reciprocal clubs
  • Receive introductory letters for members of reciprocal clubs travelling to the DAC
  • Know and understand all emergency procedures and the role of the Front Desk in these situations
