Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous front desk or related experience
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to work varied shifts including mornings and evenings
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to handle cash and follow security procedures
  • willingness to attend meetings and training sessions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in front desk, reservations, concierge, bell desk, or night audit
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency with front desk software
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • good problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of hotel operations
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests
  • check guests in and out efficiently
  • manage front desk computer operations and reservation systems
  • handle room keys and departmental keys with security
  • post charges to guest accounts and manage billing
  • assist and inform guests about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • handle guest complaints and feedback
  • coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
  • maintain accuracy of cash drawer
  • attend front desk meetings
  • perform weekly key inventories
  • uphold safety and emergency procedures
  • manage group arrivals and special requests
