Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous front desk, reservations, concierge, bell desk or night audit experience
- Work authorization in the United States
- Ability to work varied shifts including mornings, mid-evenings, and evenings
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic accounting
- Knowledge of hotel software and procedures
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Greet, register, check out, and assist guests efficiently and courteously
- Maintain thorough knowledge of check-in and check-out procedures
- Operate front desk computer systems for arrivals and departures
- Manage room keys and departmental keys with strict sign-out procedures
- Handle walk-in guests, stay-overs, and room charges accurately
- Post charges to guest accounts, master bills, and applicable accounts
- Handle safe keys according to property procedures
- Understand room and rate policies and adjust package rates appropriately
- Review reservations and future availability
- Manage group arrivals and inform guests of hotel functions
- Ensure no check-outs with outstanding balances
- Familiarize guests with hotel facilities
- Count cash drawer at shift start and end and report discrepancies
- Communicate guest requests and early departures to housekeeping
- Welcome and acknowledge return guests
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures
- Attend front desk meetings and complete weekly key inventories
- Manage telephone, mail, and message systems
- Complete guest feedback forms and relay concerns to supervisors
- Collaborate with other front office departments
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
