Job Requirements

  • authorized to work in the United States
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in front desk or related roles
  • ability to operate front desk equipment and software
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records
  • availability for various shifts
  • good knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in front desk, reservations, concierge, bell desk, or night audit roles
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with front desk computer operations and hotel management software
  • knowledge of hotel policies, room rates, and emergency procedures
  • ability to work varied shifts including mornings, mid-evenings, and evenings

Job Duties

  • greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures
  • handle reservations and room assignments
  • process guest payments and post charges
  • maintain control and sign out procedures for room and departmental keys
  • provide guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions
  • manage the cash drawer and report any discrepancies
  • communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments about guest requests and special conditions
