Job Qualifications
- High-school graduate or equivalent
- One year of work-related experience preferably in customer service or hospitality
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with data entry and database management
- Telephone etiquette experience
- Previous experience as a guest services agent preferred
- Bilingual communication skills preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as concierge to guests including making reservations and providing recommendations
- Review guest reservation status and assist with choices and alternatives
- Accommodate guests with registration and room assignment
- Verify guest payment methods and follow credit-check procedures
- Input guest information in the PMS and maintain front desk presentation
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room status and requests
- Report unusual occurrences and follow safety and emergency procedures
