Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to guest questions
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
- Ability to operate Property Management System, capture email, and use PBX system
- Accountability for balancing daily shift bank
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, or hear regularly
- Ability to use hands to handle tools or controls frequently
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to adjust vision focus
- Must maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Must adhere to all fire and emergency procedures
- Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
Job Qualifications

- Proficiency in operating Property Management System and PBX system

Job Duties
- Provide high level of customer service
- Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms including VIPs and special requests
- Check in and check out hotel guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably
- Complete all items on shift checklist by end of shift
- Follow established key control policy
- Ensure personal presentation meets standards
- Verify credit limits and follow credit policies
- Submit lost and found reports
- Assist with concierge services by providing local area knowledge
- Know and adhere to fire and emergency procedures
- Open, secure, and balance daily shift bank
- Monitor room availability throughout the day
- Review daily hotel selling status using yield management system
- Attend department meetings
- Coordinate hotel services with other departments for guest satisfaction
