Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must have mathematical aptitude and knowledge of cash handling procedures
- must have customer service experience or ability to deal with public
- fluent in oral and written English
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- must be organized and attentive to details
- ability to stand for prolonged periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- must be able to operate computer, calculator, and telephone equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- no prior experience required
- basic mathematical aptitude
- knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems
- experience dealing directly with the public
- strong customer service skills
- fluent in oral and written English
- ability to use tact and understanding in stressful situations

Job Duties
- Greets and completes established check-in procedures for arriving guests daily
- facilitates guest departure (check-out) by following manual and computer procedures
- regularly calculates and posts monies, receipts, and guest accounts using proper cash handling methods
- courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations by communicating hotel rates and information
- maintains good customer relations by staying informed of in-house and area functions
- operates PBX equipment, schedules wake-up calls and pages guests
- controls cash transactions and maintains responsibility for personal bank
- maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
