- previous experience in medical receptionist or front desk role
- familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
- previous experience as a medical receptionist or front desk role in a healthcare setting preferred
- familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical terminology
- strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
- professional and courteous demeanor with a patient-focused attitude
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
- answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect co-pays or payments as needed
- maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication
- handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding office policies and procedures
- prepare and organize patient paperwork and forms prior to appointments
- assist with billing and insurance claims processing as required
- maintain a clean and organized front desk area
