Job Duties

  • greet and register guests
  • make and modify reservations
  • perform hotel operator and concierge duties

  • handle and resolve guest complaints professionally

  • coordinate with other departments for room status and repairs
  • use persuasive selling techniques to promote rooms
  • manage front desk responsibilities including transactions, cash control, and reports
  • operate phone and office equipment
  • understand hotel policies on cancellations, late check-outs, and special requests
  • control room and master keys
  • process lost and found items
  • assist in training new staff

  • maintain knowledge of hotel products and services
  • perform other assigned duties
