Job Requirements
- one year or more of retail or clinical front desk experience preferred
- ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions with correct grammar and spelling
- effective communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
- basic to intermediate computer operation skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- knowledge of state and federal regulations including HIPAA guidelines

Job Duties
- maintains office procedures and assists with administrative tasks
- answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
- receives the public and answers questions in person and by telephone
- responds to inquiries from employees, patients, and others and refers to appropriate managers or departments
- operates office machines and computers to ensure correct and effective patient processing
- duplicates and distributes materials as necessary
- composes, types, and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other materials
- assists patients with the use of practice or clinic facilities and services
- adheres to all safety policies and procedures while supporting high quality and customer service
- performs other duties as necessary or in the best interest of the organization
