Job Requirements

  • one year or more of retail or clinical front desk experience preferred
  • ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions with correct grammar and spelling
  • effective communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
  • basic to intermediate computer operation skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • knowledge of state and federal regulations including HIPAA guidelines

Job Duties

  • maintains office procedures and assists with administrative tasks
  • answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
  • receives the public and answers questions in person and by telephone
  • responds to inquiries from employees, patients, and others and refers to appropriate managers or departments
  • operates office machines and computers to ensure correct and effective patient processing
  • duplicates and distributes materials as necessary
  • composes, types, and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other materials
  • assists patients with the use of practice or clinic facilities and services
  • adheres to all safety policies and procedures while supporting high quality and customer service
  • performs other duties as necessary or in the best interest of the organization
