Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use computers and electronic devices for record-keeping
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Teamwork orientation
- Ability to obtain PIT certification
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts
- Physical ability to lift 75 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- Availability to work weekends
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to use computer and electronic record-keeping devices
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work cooperatively with a team
- Ability to clearly communicate challenges and escalate appropriately
- Ability to problem-solve
- Ability to obtain and maintain PIT certification
Job Duties
- Combine ingredients in proper sequence, weights and proportions as specified by product formulas
- Weigh ingredients according to recipes for mixing process as required
- Operate area equipment and machinery including Spice Room and production lines
- Fill mixers by lifting or pumping ingredients
- Read scales and perform arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately
- Provide product samples to lab according to defined requirements
- Roll or push ingredient drums to pump into mixer as needed
