Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cashier or retail experience preferred
- TIPS or TEAM training or equivalent
- legal age to serve alcoholic beverages as per state law
- ability to perform basic math calculations
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand for long periods
- strong communication skills
- flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in wet, noisy, and tightly-quartered environments
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- technology proficiency with POS systems
- strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent
- of age to serve alcoholic beverages based on state requirements
- demonstrated ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions
- strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- ability to utilize a calculator and accurately make change
- ability to work well independently
- ability to work well in a high stress, fast paced environment
- must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used by guests
- technology aptitude for working with POS and digital registers
- strong guest service skills with ability to connect with customers
- scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding service to all Quick Serve customers
- ensure that policies and procedures for processing customer sales transactions are adhered to
- ensure quality and safety standards are maintained
- handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely
- assist guests at points of sale with professionalism
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
