Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of delivery service experience
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Certification in food safety such as ServSafe or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and perform physical tasks as required
  • Willingness to work overnight and weekend shifts
  • Effective communication and basic math skills
  • Ability to follow safety and standard operating procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Two to four years of delivery service experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with store and office personnel
  • Good math skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Ability to solve practical problems in varied situations
  • Possession of a valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Certification such as ServSafe or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Responsible for quantity and accuracy of prepared items and orders shipped from the facility
  • Ensure finished products are sorted and packed according to delivery route
  • Safely deliver finished products to stores according to company standards
  • Remove expired products from cases and account for them
  • Bring expired products back to facility for waste disposal and accounting
  • Stock finished products within cases according to product planograms
  • Work with store associates to meet daily food item needs
  • Conduct planogram compliance checks and make corrections
  • Comply with all driver training and safety laws
  • Follow standard operating practices for production facility
  • Maintain commissary equipment, truck, shipping, and receiving areas
  • Order products to meet next day’s store and production needs
  • Assist with delivery schedules
  • Complete all daily reports such as receiving logs, cleaning logs, and temperature logs
