Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 years minimum supervisory experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain same
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
  • Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the store
  • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
  • Possession of Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
  • High standard of integrity and reliability
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to perform physical labor including standing, walking, lifting up to 70 lbs, and occasional climbing
  • Ability to work varied shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, and closing shifts
  • Willingness to occasionally travel overnight

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or related field
  • 3-6 years minimum supervisory experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage Fresh department operations including produce, floral, meat, seafood, deli, and bakery
  • Create a shopping and working environment that exemplifies company values of service, quality, and neighborhood partnerships
  • Increase customer confidence and loyalty by promoting cleanliness, compliance, and consistent operating conditions
  • Provide courteous and prompt service to customers
  • Identify and develop talent through proper training
  • Balance physical labor, delegation, team building, leadership, planning, and administrative work
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to food safety and company policies
