Job Requirements

- Experience in food preparation or related field preferred
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
- Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices
- Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results
- Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts
- Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals
- Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles
