Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong attention to detail and food safety knowledge
  • physical ability to perform medium work including moving objects up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with recipe guidelines and food safety requirements
  • ensure food quality and safety through proper equipment cleaning and hygienic practices
  • control waste and investigate food quality and service complaints
  • clean, organize, and stock kitchen area
  • operate shift efficiently and safely to contribute to store profitability
  • follow work schedule unless approved otherwise by Store Manager
  • adhere to all relevant laws and company standards
  • complete incident and shift change reports
  • record and communicate store information as needed
  • provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • maintain personal appearance and wear company uniform
  • ring merchandise promptly and assist customers
  • handle customer complaints per company guidelines
  • control cash and inventory during shift
  • protect company assets
  • report damaged or spoiled merchandise
  • keep coolers, shelves, and displays stocked and fronted
  • ensure customer areas are clean and supplies stocked
  • maintain clean check-out counters and store floors
  • check refrigeration temperatures
  • clean store areas and equipment
  • contact service department for maintenance issues
  • ensure operational standards and training requirements are met
  • follow procedures for storing, preparing, cooking, displaying, serving, and accounting for products
