Job Requirements
- Food handler's certification as required by state law provided at store level
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- ability to reach with hands and arms
- ability to stoop
- ability to taste or smell
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to perform overhead lifting, climb, balance, and lift up to 75 pounds frequently
- ability to sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to distinguish colors and perceive depth
- slip resistant shoes with closed toe and heel
- willingness to work in wet or humid conditions, extreme cold, near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals
Job Qualifications
- Experience in volume production of culinary cold foods, preferably in fruits and vegetables
- culinary education a benefit
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions and weights

- cuts fresh produce to size and variety specifications
- understands product quality standards
