Job Requirements
- Permanent status as Associate Staff Analyst or eligibility on the civil service list
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm
- Residency in New York City or eligibility under residency rules
- Ability to work remotely up to two days per week
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience in grant administration and strategic planning
- Background in sustainable transportation practices
Job Qualifications
- Master's degree in economics, finance, business administration, urban studies, or related field
- One year of professional experience in budget administration, economic or financial research, program evaluation, or public administration
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Experience with project management and multi-stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of urban freight, logistics, or transportation systems
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization software
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Job Duties
- Manage timelines, budgets, and milestones for grant-funded initiatives
- Coordinate with partners to ensure compliance and reporting
- Lead Urban Freight Collaborative initiatives including planning and data collection
- Organize quarterly Freight Advisory Committee meetings and prepare strategic agendas
- Collaborate with industry, community groups, and agencies on freight solutions
- Develop and publish the Freight Mobility newsletter
- Support cross-functional projects with data analysis, policy development, and program evaluation
- Foster team collaboration and mentorship within the Freight Mobility Unit
