Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations, freight payment or accounting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- General understanding of accounting practices
- System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience highly preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties
- Manage freight accrual exception process
- Identify empty and tariff rates as needed and upload into database
- Utilize EDI 404/417 to confirm payer of freight as needed
- Manage accrual without invoice exceptions
- Resolve accrual and invoice non-match exceptions and dispute as needed
- Create ad hoc reports
