Job Requirements

  • Over 5-7 years of outside sales experience in freight forwarding
  • Experience working in a freight forwarding company
  • Proven track record preferably someone who has a book of business
  • US-based candidate
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Reside in NY, Chicago, LA, or Houston metropolitan areas

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of outside sales experience in international freight forwarding
  • Proven track record of success in sales with a strong client base
  • In-depth knowledge of TransAtlantic, TransPacific, and Mexico/Canada trade lanes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Generate new sales leads and manage existing client relationships
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business in TransAtlantic, TransPacific, and Mexico/Canada trade lanes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless logistics and customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
