Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in export or logistics operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience with carrier management and customer service
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and billing
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Knowledge of import-export regulations and compliance
Job Qualifications
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Minimum 2 years work experience in high tech customer services and logistics environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Proven reporting and presentation skills
- Strong responsiveness in dealing with customer requests
- Attention to detail in billing, process analysis, complaint investigations and reporting activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist others during peak volume periods
- Experience in carrier network management
Job Duties
- Provide high level support and supervision to export department
- Manage daily activities of the export team
- Supervise administration processes for import and export compliance
- Review documentation and calculations related to duties, tariffs, price conversions, and product specifications
- Verify payment transactions completion
- Ensure all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems
- Resolve issues with clients, customs officials, and shippers
- Contribute to development of export processes and procedures
- Supervise operations staff and enforce compliance with company policies
- Manage, develop, and train staff, establish and monitor goals, conduct performance reviews
- Log and ensure resolution of all daily customer service contacts and queries
- Report operational issues impacting shipments and track resolutions
- Compile and action reporting suites per KPI requirements
- Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions
- Oversee carrier management including tracking, delivery, returns, and claim exceptions
- Report carrier performance and initiate corrective actions
- Participate in carrier and customer meetings and reviews
- Manage self-billing and all billing activities
- Provide regular reporting from TMS system
- Participate in control tower and customer projects
- Act as the voice of the customer
