Job Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in freight forwarding or international logistics
- familiarity with freight forwarding processes and regulatory compliance
- excellent organisational skills
- strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- proficiency in freight forwarding systems, transportation management systems, ERP software, and MS Excel
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or a similar role
- strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- proficiency with freight forwarding systems, transportation management systems, ERP software, and MS Excel
- ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a dynamic environment
- bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or equivalent preferred but not essential
Job Duties
- Handle export and import freight bookings and scheduling across multiple transport modes
- prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
- liaise with carriers, agents, customs brokers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments
- track, trace, and monitor freight status
- resolve delays, discrepancies, or issues promptly
- maintain compliance with relevant regulations including customs, Incoterms, and carrier requirements
- assist with rate negotiations, cost control, and operational efficiency
- provide regular reporting and status updates to stakeholders such as sales, operations, and customers
