Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in freight forwarding logistics or a related field
  • Experience in transportation of time definite urgent cargo
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations such as calculating costs and rates
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Flexibility to work weekends and be on-call after hours

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in freight forwarding logistics or a related field
  • Experience in transportation of time definite urgent cargo
  • Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
  • Understanding of trade laws and regulations
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the exportation of goods by air including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
  • Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance including commercial invoices packing lists and bills of lading
  • Track and monitor shipments providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
  • Manage relationships with customers ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with other internal departments such as logistics finance and operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws including customs regulations and trade laws
  • Flexibility to work weekends and be on-call after hours
