Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in freight forwarding logistics or a related field
  • Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
  • Understanding of trade laws and regulations
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in freight forwarding logistics or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in freight forwarding is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations such as calculating costs and rates
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
  • Understanding of trade laws and regulations
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the exportation of goods by air including scheduling with airlines and managing goods movement
  • Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance including commercial invoices packing lists and bills of lading
  • Track and monitor shipments providing regular updates to customers
  • Manage relationships with customers ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics finance and operations to ensure timely service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws including customs and trade laws
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
