Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or related logistics field preferred
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of customs regulations and trade laws
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in freight forwarding logistics or a related field
- Experience in freight forwarding highly desirable
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations such as costs and rates
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
- Understanding of trade laws and regulations
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of additional languages a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with logistics software and systems preferred
Job Duties
- Coordinate the exportation of goods by air including scheduling with airlines and managing transportation channels
- Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance such as commercial invoices packing lists and bills of lading
- Track and monitor shipments providing regular updates to customers
- Manage relationships with customers ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics finance and operations to ensure efficient service delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including customs and trade laws
- Perform all other duties as assigned
