Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, jump, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
- physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs
- vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to recognize and prevent security risks
- strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications
- No prior experience or training required
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs
- knowledge of basic computer functions and willingness to learn POS software
- strong attention to detail
- excellent organizational skills
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- flexibility to work varied shifts and holidays
- understanding of customer service principles

Job Duties
- Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure that shipments are correct
- send any alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx
- check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
- double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out
- fold items and place in appropriate sized box when shipping to Guests and other stores
- remove any pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in
- place Sensormatic tags on each garment in the designated place
- hang and fold merchandise to be put on the sales floor and steam when necessary
- assist on projects on floor when necessary
- work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- develop and maintain knowledge of POS software
- receive freight boxes and store transfers through the register
- send discrepancies in store mail and file non-errors for 30 days
- maintain all shipment-related paperwork
- recognize and prevent security risks and thefts
- make FedEx labels for all packages and sort packages by required shipment transit time
- send in recalls and Return to Vendors on a weekly basis
- keep supplies in stock and organized
- organize fixtures and shelving
- maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
- maintain daily work files in order
- communicate policy violations in a timely and confidential manner
- provide feedback regarding merchandise handling concerns
- understand and apply the Code of Ethics and company policies
- perform job duties with a high level of customer service
- complete special projects and other assigned duties
