Job Requirements

- Previous experience in freight operations or logistics
- Proficiency with transportation management systems
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to support team members and collaborate effectively
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS)
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of freight operations and logistics
- Experience in inside sales within the transportation industry is advantageous
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with clients and carriers
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed
Job Duties
- Manage shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient transportation
- Secure freight capacity by making cold calls to carriers and building strong carrier relationships
- Handle carrier qualifications, onboarding, and rate negotiations
- Provide timely shipment tracking and updates to clients
- Maintain effective communication with clients and carriers for a seamless shipping experience
- Support inside sales by identifying new business opportunities and assisting in customer development
- Collaborate with team members by covering loads and responding promptly to group emails
- Resolve shipment transit issues efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned
