Job Requirements
- experience with ms office suite primarily outlook word and excel
- preferred sap gts experience
- demonstrated understanding of parts 24 101 102 111 134 141-143 and 152 of 19 cfr
- demonstrated ability to classify products using htsus
- ability to communicate professionally with multiple parties
- ability to manage shared email communications
- availability for 4/10 work schedule
Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in business or supply chain preferred
- understanding of brokerage provider and freight forwarder processes
- demonstrated understanding of required commercial invoice elements and their purpose
- demonstrated ability to locate, read, and apply 19 CFR for straightforward import processes
- demonstrated ability to correctly utilize HTSUS for straightforward classifications
- basic understanding of CBP and CBP approved additional publications
Job Duties
- Process routine entry instruction requests
- research missing or incorrect data elements related to import shipments
- resolve routine inquiries and requests submitted by internal customers
- manage shared email communications
- escalate scenarios as needed
- review inbound invoices for accuracy
- classify basic products under HTSUS correctly
