Job Requirements
- Minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead, stand, walk, reach, and bend throughout shift
- Able to work indoor/outdoor temperature conditions
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- Knowledge of basic food handling policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
- Outstanding guest service skills
- Basic computer knowledge of POS systems like Micros
- Previous food and beverage experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus
- Food handling and TIPS certificate is an asset
- Knowledge of food, wine, and spirits is an asset
- Excellent eye for detail and multitasking ability
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Greet using names and acknowledge each guest promptly after seating with hotel greeting standard
- Knowledge of restaurant/water park layout and location of all equipment and supplies
- Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all menu items and specials
- Serve and deliver beverages and/or food items, napkins, and other needed items to guests at the appropriate table, bar, cabana, and/or seat location using a tray
- Organize and expedite beverage and/or food for timely and accurate delivery of prepared items, garnish beverages
- Observe and take note of dirty and occupied tables/seats/cabanas
- Pick up dirty glassware and/or plates and small wares and deliver them to the specified dishwashing area
- Perform side work assigned by management
- Know and implement standards/procedures of service for guests
- Ensure table settings are fully equipped with the appropriate condiments
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work area
- Assist as needed to maintain standards of appearance, sanitation, and service in all areas of the restaurant
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
