Job Requirements
- based in the designated city
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in live event curation production or promotions
- experience selling event sponsorships or marketing activations
- confident in pitching ideas and closing deals
- strong knowledge of local neighborhoods and culture
- ability to build relationships with community organizations media partners and local businesses
- ability to work autonomously with professional ownership ethos
- available to work evenings and weekends
- excellent time management and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in live event curation production and promotions
- experience selling event sponsorships or marketing activations preferably in live events or experiential marketing
- confident pitching ideas and closing partnership deals
- strong pulse on city neighborhoods and local culture
- natural connector with ability to build relationships with diverse community organizations media partners or local businesses
- understanding of promotion and strategic alliances to sell more tickets
- exceptional time management skills
- clear communication skills
Job Duties
- Strengthen Sofar’s brand in local community promoting and selling tickets with self-directed local marketing tactics
- create city strategy including number of monthly shows neighborhoods show theme ideas
- lead curation and booking for experiences with high-quality diverse artists and venues
- own staffing and quality of shows ensuring magical experiences rooted in hospitality
- manage city’s financial performance ensuring event success
- build relationships with local businesses to drive sponsorship and private event sales
- identify and build relationships with local organizations to broaden reach and co-promote shows
