Job Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Based in Kalamazoo, MI
  • Availability for contract, per-event scheduling
  • Experience with complex events and executive-level intimate gatherings
  • Demonstrated high-level event execution

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate event management

  • Proven ability to execute large-scale and intimate events professionally

  • Skilled in group facilitation and managing group dynamics

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all event details and staff logistics
  • Join virtual planning meetings with corporate and nonprofit partners
  • Take ownership of event setup, on-site alignment, tear down, and site cleanup
  • Represent Visit.org as the event leader and problem solver
  • Manage guest check-in with a warm, welcoming presence
  • Address issues such as missing supplies, late staff, and technology challenges
  • Provide real-time updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team
  • Oversee packing and shipping of supplies after events
