Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handlers training certification required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 10lbs
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Prior host experience preferred
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance
  • Must be able to work in various conditions, outside exposed to elements
  • Flexible Scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handlers training certification

Job Duties

  • Greet and invite Riverwalk patrons to dine in restaurant
  • Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest
  • Answer phone and record reservations in accordance to MOS standards
  • Control high volume outside of restaurant
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guests
  • Assist servers when needed
  • Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell
  • Assist service operations
  • Must have full familiarity with menus
