Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months previous cash handling experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, public, and co-workers
- Basic computer and cash register skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under time constraints
Job Qualifications
- Must have 6 months previous cash handling experience
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written
- Must present a neat and professional appearance
- Work requires attention to detail and accuracy
- Work requires interaction with customers, public and co-workers
- Work requires use of a computer and/or cash register
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff
- Engage in friendly conversations with guests using the 10/5 Rule
- Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal
- Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal giving correct change and maintaining integrity of financial controls
- Make drinks to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines
- Deliver product to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and assist in maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas
- Assist in training new Fountain Counter Persons and new Management staff
- Resolve guest complaints expeditiously and inform Management
- Prepare or serve menu items such as sandwiches or salads
