Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the size of their group
  • seat guests at clean and available tables
  • remove and arrange chairs as necessary
  • provide guests with clean, updated menus
  • guide guests through the dining areas and assist as needed
  • move and arrange tables, chairs, and utensils for special group accommodations
  • ensure appropriate cutlery and napkins are provided
  • verify menus are clean, wrinkle-free, and up to date
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures
  • monitor seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and comfort in dining rooms
  • comply with all safety and company policies and report accidents or unsafe working conditions to management
  • maintain professional appearance and uniform standards
  • protect company property and maintain confidentiality
  • use clear and professional communication
  • answer phones following proper protocols
  • cultivate positive working relationships with team members
  • support team goals and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns
