Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, counseling, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in child welfare, family support, behavioral health, foster care, or related human services
- Minimum of 2 years experience supporting families from systems level
- Minimum of 3 years experience supervising, coaching, or leading a team
- Demonstrated expertise in family support evidence-based models, strategies, trainings, and tools
- Comfortable with public speaking and group facilitation
- Demonstrated experience handling urgent situations with sound judgment and calm communication
- Commitment to professional self-care and effective stress management
- Dedication to organization mission, vision, values, and core principles
- Ability to foster respectful partnerships
- Must reside in South Carolina
- Ability to work remotely with some travel
- Flexibility to handle non-traditional work hours
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, counseling, or a related field

- At least 2 years supporting families at a systems level
- Minimum of 3 years supervising, coaching, or leading teams
- Expertise in family support evidence-based models and tools
- Experience with public speaking and group facilitation
- Demonstrated skill managing urgent situations with sound judgment
- Commitment to professional self-care and functioning effectively under stress

- Ability to foster respectful and collaborative partnerships
Job Duties
- Co-develop family support and stability program models including service tiers and escalation protocols
- Build and maintain support infrastructure such as checklists, templates, and resource guides
- Lead continuous improvement cycles using family feedback and outcome data
- Ensure proactive contact and support for foster families during high-risk periods
- Create stabilization practices to prevent placement disruptions
- Lead and coordinate training for Family Support Specialists and foster parents
- Supervise Family Support Specialists with trauma-informed coaching and regular performance evaluations
- Serve as first escalation point for foster parent urgent concerns and risk events
- Develop and maintain protocols for triage, internal communication, and documentation
- Collaborate with Licensing, Placement, and Intake teams for coordinated family support
- Monitor and support quality, compliance, and data tracking for family support services
- Model equity-centered, respectful, and culturally humble practices
- Perform additional duties to support agency mission and operational success
