Job Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Familiarity with flight operations and FAA regulations
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal systems such as Delta's DBMS, SIMON, and other DPS tools
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software platforms
  • Provide scheduling support to other DPS planners as needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embrace a diverse set of people, thinking and styles
  • Exhibit analytical thinking to apply logic and reasoning to solve complex scheduling challenges

Job Duties

  • Liaise with Delta Flight Operations Planning Team to ensure simulator availability aligns with training needs
  • Communicate simulator availability and assignments with external partners
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to develop class schedules based on simulator and instructor availability
  • Utilize Delta's scheduling tools to accurately document training events
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and implement last-minute changes as needed
  • Notify and schedule pilot instructors for assigned training sessions
  • Coordinate and assign simulator training events for client students
