Job Requirements

  • ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds overhead
  • ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions
  • physical stamina to perform manual labor in remote locations

Job Qualifications

  • strong background in international operations or project management

  • proficiency in multiple languages or ability to learn new languages quickly

Job Duties

  • spearhead the expansion of international weather balloon launch sites
  • manage logistics and coordinate with vendors and local authorities
  • execute 1-3 week international pilot deployments
  • secure customs approvals and handle import/export documentation
  • set up launch rigs and support on-the-ground operations
  • adapt to diverse cultural environments and troubleshoot field challenges
  • collaborate closely with the Head of International Growth to meet strategic goals
